God Asked Me to Release a Blessing Over You
Lately, I’ve felt such a stirring from the Lord—one I couldn’t ignore. He asked me to release a blessing over you. Not a casual “be blessed,” but a word spoken with divine weight.
It all began during prayer with my husband. We pray most mornings together, and while not every day feels like a mountaintop encounter, there are moments when heaven feels close. Yesterday, I couldn’t shake the song The Blessing by Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes—“The Lord bless you and keep you.” That scripture from Numbers 6:24 stayed in my spirit all day. And this morning, the Lord whispered, “I want you to release that same blessing over My people.”
Because let’s be honest—this world feels shaky. The news, politics, fear, violence, and uncertainty can make it seem like the ground is shifting under our feet. Even when these things don’t directly touch our own homes, we can still feel the heaviness in the atmosphere.
But hear me clearly: God does not want you living in fear. He doesn’t want you worried about lack, danger, or being forgotten.
You are not going to be in lack.
You are not going to be unsafe.
You are not going to be neglected.
You are not going to be forgotten.
The plans of the enemy will not prosper against you.
The Power of a Blessing
Releasing a blessing isn’t just a kind gesture—it’s a spiritual act. Throughout Scripture, God’s people spoke blessings over one another. In Numbers 6:22–26, God instructed Moses to tell Aaron to bless the Israelites in this way:
“May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord look with favor on you and give you peace.”
When the priests spoke those words, it was as if God Himself was speaking blessing into their lives.
So today, I release that same blessing over you:
May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May He look with favor upon you and give you peace.
The God of the universe—the One who sees everything—has His eyes on you. He knows exactly what you’re walking through. You are seen, known, and loved.
Grace, Favor, and Peace
Grace isn’t just forgiveness. It’s the empowerment of God to do what you could never do on your own. When you say, “I can’t handle this,” grace says, “I can handle it through you.”
Favor means God is for you—even when circumstances seem stacked against you. He’s not waiting on you to earn it; He gives it because He’s good. Just as you love your children simply because they’re yours, God loves and favors you simply because you belong to Him.
And peace—shalom—isn’t just the absence of trouble. It’s the presence of divine wholeness even when the world feels like it’s falling apart.
Living in Goshen
The Lord reminded me of the story of Goshen—the place where the Israelites lived during the plagues in Egypt. While destruction and chaos swept through Egypt, God’s people were protected in Goshen.
That’s what the Lord wants you to remember: you are living in Goshen. While the world trembles, you are under His covering. The world may see shortages, but you live under Heaven’s abundance. You are not forgotten or forsaken—you are shielded and supplied by God Himself.
So stop letting fear dictate your focus. Turn off the noise that fuels anxiety and tune your ear to the voice of peace. God doesn’t speak in fear; He speaks in truth and assurance.
You Are Blessed to Be a Blessing
When you realize that you are already blessed, your focus begins to shift. You stop praying just for survival and start living with divine purpose. You realize that God’s blessing on your life isn’t just for you—it’s meant to overflow into the lives of others.
Generosity becomes your lifestyle. Joy becomes your witness. Peace becomes your posture.
You begin to walk with quiet authority, knowing that you carry the presence of God into every room.
A Final Word
Let this truth settle deep in your spirit today:
You are not forgotten. You are not unprotected. You are not powerless.
God’s arms are wrapped around you, shielding and strengthening you.
He’s already provided what you need.
He’s already gone before you.
He’s already called you blessed.
So step into your Goshen. Abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
And let this week—and every week—be marked by peace, favor, and the unshakable knowledge that you are loved and chosen by God.
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” —Psalm 91:1
